I mean, Bannerlord is meant to be an expansion and update to Warband, is it not? While clearly better looking, really it is more of a sidegrade than a upgrade in its current state. Now, in my opinion, TW should bring in features from the most popular Warband mods, as standard.

Yes, updates will frequently break mods, unfortunately, but the sort of features and mechanics we desire are out there in mod form. Like Warband before it I feel it is best to treat Bannerlord as a modding platform, even now. But, the question lingers is will we get more? Tiny things such as auto following groups on the world map, proper relationship mechanics (not just "here is a bribe, you like me now"), Right to Rule, and so many other things that should have been included off the bat as they were already established features.īy all means Bannerlord is not a terrible experience, it has its plus points, and is a great framework for more. A second that there is basic, Native Warband features missing from this title. However long this current iteration of Bannerlord has been in development there is 10 years of ideas and content that could be made use of, but is not. The game itself is "decent" but really "decent" should not cut it. Now, I am the first to take digs at Taleworlds and say that it is missing many, much needed features that we have been used to from both Native Warband and the massive selection of Mods available. As such, really, it should be at a certain level of quality. The game is out, while it maybe Early Access the key word there is "Access", as in, it is accessable. You should have noticed that it is still in EA
